Another old bathroom fix-up at the big, yellow house. Halfway through we decided to sell our house and move to another old house in town. Don't worry, it's very charming too. More about that later. Here are the before pictures....
As you can see, this space has a very odd layout, but quirky and cute at the same time. The arched doorway is one of my favorite features.
We took this bathroom from a light blue to a light grey. We kept the white trim throughout to keep things consistent through the entire house. And here are the after shots.....
We laid a new floor right on top of the old one. We used a stick down tile that you can grout over. Super fast installation and it looks fantastic. (Mary used this exact same tile in her bathroom remodel recently. I totally copied it because....well....it's super cute!).
I was going to go with a completely different sink, but when we decided to sell, I picked something very plain and a lot less expensive than my original plan.
Some new light fixtures and a rough wood trimmed mirror finish off the new look.
I'm loving the change! I decided not to put any finishing touches on it since we won't be staying to enjoy it. But it makes a clean slate for the next owners.
