Two sisters in the Pacific Northwest. Both passionate about living rich, purposeful lives. Homeschooling mothers striving to fill their homes with a love of learning. Looking to the past to incorporate "forgotten" skills into their modern way of life. Finding great joy in the simple things. Here to inspire and uplift.
Hello. My name is Sophia. I am a homeschooling mommy to five amazing children. I am blessed with an awesome husband who is my best friend in the world. Our house is full of love and laughter and learning. Days are long and full of things to do, chores to finish, and projects to complete. Although being busy is a constant, I strive for simplicity. I aim for a minimalist lifestyle and a relaxing atmosphere. I enjoy clean, organized spaces. I strive for perfection in all aspects of life, fall short every day, but continue to strive. I live a very frugal lifestyle. Living within my means is very important to me. I am a non-conformist that finds joy in paving my own way. I can be found teaching, writing, making music, crocheting, baking & cooking, exercising, remodeling my house, gardening, and tending to my chickens. I enjoy being with loved ones, and putting a smile on my kids’ faces.
Hi, I'm Mary. I am a wife to one hardworking man and a mother to three growing boys. I love music, nature, and all things creative. I am a planner at heart and enjoy having things predictable, but I have learned that life isn't predictable. Finding balance is a challenge I try to meet each day. As I read and explore with my family, I work hard to create a loving learning environment that nourishes our bodies, minds, and souls. Over a number of years I have sought out a simpler life, often looking to those who came before me for inspiration. Being diagnosed with a rare genetic disease has pushed me further to find ways to simplify in an effort to keep only the truly necessary, the very best, and the wonderfully beautiful things in my life. I find my greatest joy in spending time with my family, serving in my church community, and getting out in nature.
